The Department for Research Staff Development is responsible for:

a) identifying and launching calls for proposals for  programmes supporting the Research staff development; it is also responsible of  taking all necessary measures ensuring a fair  evaluation of the proposals;

b) assigning projects falling within its scope, monitoring their implementation, reviewing the mid-term and final reports, and accepting/approving the delivered projects;

c) publishing calls for expression of interest, evaluating, managing and implementing scholarship awarding actions for doctoral dissertations and/or post-doctoral studies and actions funded through the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation;

d) addressing any other relevant issues.
