The Innovation Department is responsible for:

a) Identifying  and launching calls for proposals of programmes supporting  innovation; it is also responsible of taking all necessary measures  ensuring a fair  evaluation of the proposals;

b) assigning innovation projects, monitoring their implementation, reviewing the mid-term and final reports and accepting/approving the delivered projects;

c) verifying and certifying business expenditure on science and technology research and granting the relevant certification of expenditure;

d) taking measures for technology transfer;

e) addressing any other  issues relevant to its scope
