Call for Express of Interest for participation to the Industry Days under the French-Greek bilateral cooperation in the Space sector (Toulouse, France)

In the context of the current bilateral cooperation between France and Greece in the Space sector, the General Secretariat for Research & Technology/GSRT (ESA Greek Delegation) announces the co-organization with CNES of an “Information & Networking Space Industry Day”. The event is foreseen to take place in Toulouse (France), on October 1st with a possibility to be extended for one additional day, depending on the number of the participants and/or their interest.

Through the event the two parties intend to further advance the good FR-GR cooperation and possibly form French – Greek industrial consortia in the sector of Space Technology and Applications.

 The Industry Day event is supported by 3 French Space clusters and the Greek Space cluster (Si – cluster) and will hold presentations by both LSIs and SMEs regarding their capabilities and prospects and also B2B networking sessions.   

Among the cooperation fields will be the following:

  • Scientific ESA Missions,
  • Technology activities (possible topics: Materials, Microelectronics, Optics, Propulsion)
  • Application and Services activities (possible topics: Earth Observation, Agriculture, Telecommunications),
  • Horizon 2020 themes/Work Programmes.

          The stakeholders are invited to express their interest to participate, as well as the estimated number of the participants, until August 20th 2015, sending an e-mail message to GSRT (to all three e-mail addresses): N. Prekas, n.prekas@gsrt.gr, V. Kaleridis, vkas@gsrt.gr και M. Kotsias, m.kotsias@gsrt.gr). It should be noted that the participants must cover their own expenses. The final decision for the organization of the event will be jointly taken by the two Delegations (CNES and GSRT) depending on the expressed interest and will be communicated to the interested entities by GSRT.
